Terms of Service
Last updated: [DATE] · Effective: [DATE]
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the onepizza.io video-meeting platform and related APIs (the "Service"), operated by [Company Legal Name] ("we", "us"). By creating an account, joining a meeting, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
onepizza.io provides browser-based video meetings (audio/video, screen sharing, recording, chat, captions, breakout rooms, polls, and related features) and a developer API. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for safeguarding your password and API keys. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least [16/18] years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing purposes; (b) record or transmit content without the consent required by applicable law in the participants' jurisdictions; (c) attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; (d) exceed documented rate limits or resell access without authorization; or (e) upload malware or illegal content.
4. Recordings & meeting content
The Service can record meetings and store chat, files, notes, polls, and attendance. The meeting host and participants are responsible for obtaining any consent required by law before recording. You are responsible for the content you create, upload, or share, and you grant us the limited license needed to host and deliver that content to your meeting participants.
5. Billing
Paid usage is billed on a usage basis (per participant, per minute) at the rates shown in your account, and may be paid by card (via Stripe) or USDC. Charges are calculated at meeting end. Credits and prepaid balances are non-refundable except where required by law. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (e.g., payment processing, email delivery, hosting, optional media relays). Your use may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by [Company Legal Name] and its licensors. These Terms grant you no rights in our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the Service.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that media will connect in every network environment.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Company Legal Name] will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of [amounts you paid in the prior 3 months] or [USD 100].
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms here and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing-law jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [venue].
